His Masked Ambassador was fellow NFL player, Keenan Allen, who was season 9’s Gargoyle. Masked Ambassadors were introduced in season 12, and they were alums of the show who shared connections with, and clues about, the newest contestants.

Kobie blew everyone away withhispowerful versions of “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims, “Miss Independent” by Ne-Yo, “House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals, and “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls. During the Group B finals, the panelists couldn’t bear to see him go, so they rang the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell to save him and send him to the quarterfinals.

Kobie also sang his heart out during the Group B Battle Royaleagainst Wasp with his performance of “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” by Marvin Gaye, as well as his quarterfinals Smackdown song, “Hold On, I’m Comin'” by Sam & Dave versus Strawberry Shortcake. 2Keenan Allen - Gargoyle

The Masked Singerseason 9 featured Keenan Allen as Gargoyle, who’sa wide receiver for the Chicago Bears. He’s also played for the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers. Gargoyle was a commanding costume, with a muscular body and large golden wings. It matched Keenan’s amazing stage presence and extraordinary vocals.
As Gargoyle, Keenan impressed everyone withhis sensational performances of “One Call Away” by Charlie Puth and “DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love” by Usher ft. Pitbull. The panelists saved him with the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell, after he sang “Kryptonite” by 3 Doors Down in the Battle Royale versus Malin Akerman (Squirrel). He also sang “Centuries” by Fall Out Boy in the Battle Royale against eventual winner Bishop Briggs (Medusa), after which he was eliminated.

None of theMasked Singerseason 9 panelists guessed Keenan correctly. Their final guesses before his unmasking were Joey Bosa (Robin), Michael B. As Thingamabob, Jordan sang “Wanted or Alive” by Bon Jovi, “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, and “Classic” by MKTO.He was a mystery throughout his time on the show, stumping the panelists. Although some of them inferred that he was an athlete, no one was able to figure out his true identity. Their final guesses were J.J. Watt (Robin), Michael Strahan (Jenny), Liam Hemsworth (Ken), and Dennis Rodman (Nicole). Jordan was one of the most shocking reveals, and he’ll always be remembered for his outstanding performances.

4DeMarcus Ware - Koala

DuringThe Masked Singerseason 11, retired NFL player DeMarcus Ware was revealed to be Koala. He was a Wild Card contestant, who was eliminated after just one episode. However,his performance of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears was so amazing that he’s unforgettable. As an NFL player, DeMarcus was a linebacker who won the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos in 2015. He also played for the Dallas Cowboys. As Koala, DeMarcus was dressed as the cuddly animal, wearing a musketeer outfit.
Although the panelists didn’t have much time to figure out his identity because he was only on one episode, they knew that he was a football player. However,none of them guessed him correctly. Their final guesses were Michael Irvin (Robin), Shannon Sharpe (Jenny), Deion Sanders (Ken), and Terry Crews (Rita). John’s Masked Ambassador was DeMarcus Ware, who wasThe Masked Singerseason 11’s Koala. As Leaf Sheep, John sang a fun rendition of “I Like It, I Love It” by Tim McGraw. As Milkshake,Le’Veon’s rapping was very impressive, but, sinceThe Masked Singeris a singing competition, he ran into trouble when he competed against Wilson Phillips' Lambs in the Battle Royale. They both sang “What Is Love” by Haddaway, and, although he put up a valiant effort, his singing abilities simply weren’t as strong as his rapping skills.
Le’Veon succeeded in tricking the panel, who incorrectly guessed that he was DeSean Jackson (Robin), DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jenny), LL Cool J (Ken), and T.I. (Nicole). Although Le’Veon clearly wasn’t a singer, his rap performance was absolutely stellar. Le’Veon returned toThe Masked Singerduring season 10 on NFL Night, during which he sang “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas.
