While wearing this ring, the wizard can enjoy a+1 boost to both armor class and saving throws. It’s best to wait until the druids have stopped the Rite of Thorns before stealing the idol, or all the druids will become hostile and slaughter the tieflings.Investigating Kaghaand then stealthily stealing it will allow the most peaceful resolution.

11Robe Of Supreme Defences - Very Rare Clothing
Can Be Purchased In Act 3 From Ferg Drogher
The Robe of Supreme Defences are fantastic robes for any spellcaster and are an excellentitem for sorcerersor wizards. While wearing it and concentrating on a spell, the wizard willgain a +1 to AC and be able to add their spellcasting modifier to their saving throws, which is especially helpful for making concentration checks.

TheShelter of Athkatlais an excellent piece of clothing that can be looted from Lorroakan after defeating him during the quest"Find the Nightsong.” Wearing this robe will grant advantage on saving throws against spells such asBlightorHold Person. The robe also gives the ability tocastMirror Imageat level two once per long rest, which is a brilliant spell. Lasting for 10 turns or until all the duplicates are gone, the spell creates illusory copies of the caster, with each duplicate increasing the caster’s AC by 3.
9Helldusk Gloves - Very Rare Gloves
Can Be Looted In Act 3 From Haarlep
Part of theHelldusk Armor set, theHelldusk Glovesare a perfect choice for a wizard. The gloves give the wearer a+1 bonus to spell attack rolls, spell save DC, weapon and unarmed attack rolls, and Strength saving throws. Any weapon attacks will deal an extra 1d6 fire damage, while unarmed attacks will deal 1d6 additional necrotic damage with the change to inflict bleeding. Finally, once per short rest, the gloves allowrays of fireto be cast as a cantrip, which sends out three rays that deal 3d6 fire damage each.
8Psychic Spark - Uncommon Amulet

Psychic Sparkis one of those items that, at first, doesn’t seem to do much but can have a big impact during a fight. Firstly, it letsMagic Missilebe cast once per long rest at first level. However, the amulet’s Psychic Missiles feature is the best part, as itadds one extra dart whenever amagic missileis castfrom any source. This amulet was crucial when I was fighting Orin, as it burnt through her Unstoppable Charges in one turn, as the darts were guaranteed to hit, and it let my partybeat Orin quickly.
7Hood Of The Weave - Very Rare Helmet
Can Be Purchased Or Looted In Act 3 From Mystic Carrion
Boosting the spell save DC or attack roll of any spellcaster should be a priority throughoutBG3, but especially once the party hits Act 3 and the battle with the Netherbrain looms. TheHood of the Weaveis fantastic as it gives the wearer a+2 boost to spell attack rolls and their spell save DC. The hood can be bought from the Mummy Lord Mystic Carrion, who can be found inside Philgrave’s Mansion close to the Counting House, or looted from him if Thrumbo is sided with during“Find Mystic Carrion’s Servant.”
6Cloak Of The Weave - Very Rare Cloak
Can Be Purchased In Act 3 From Helsik
The Cloak of the Weave is another piece of the Weave set that can be bought from Helsik’s special stock in the Devil’s Fee, and its effects stack perfectly with the hood. This cloak grants its wearer a+1 bonus to their spell save DC and spell attack rolls.

+1 to spell save DC and spell attack rolls. Absorb elemental damage once per short rest to take half damage, then deal an extra 1d6 of that elemental type on the next attack.
It also allows the absorbing element to be used once per short rest, which lets the wizard take half of the damage from an elemental attack targeting them. They can then use that elemental damage to deal an extra 1d6 damage with their next attack.

Karlach is the best party member to help unlock Helsik’s special stock, as she has a DC 0 for checks made for infernal items in the store.
