No Wii For Mii I plump down on my lounge quick to record some football game . I take hold of the tivo remote and alas , the goddamned thing is dead . I do all the usuals . I slap the remote , gyrate the batteries … no luck . I have no choice to embark out to get this lilliputian bundies of energy . Circuit City is two blocks away so I put on the running shoe and get a move on .
Luckly , it ’s highly quiet . I could have affirm that there was campers out here last Nox when I function to see the new Bond flick . As I take the air through the door , a guy rope dressed in red asks me “ Nintendo Wii ? ” . I just grunted and he turn over me a racy tag . I came in to get some batteries and I just score a hard to incur item ? gratifying . I was gon na buy one , but not until after the holidays suppose that they would be too hard to find . ( And loopy … here ’s looking at you 360 ! )
Seconds later this older woman comes bursting in to the store . She looks like your distinctive mom . She grabs the red shirted guy at the front and asks about the Wii . He politely tell her that they gave out their last ticket and dreary . abruptly there is this wail . Like a nestling had been murdered kinda sound pouring out this woman . There is sob , and cower . The cat then points in my charge and says I have the last slate . piddling ole me , with my Wii ticket and AAA batteries .
She scoot up to me and degenerate to her knees . weeping , sob , lead mascera … the works .
” I have to get this for my shaver ! ” Please ! It will destory them ! ! ! They ’ve had a hard year ! Please help me ! ” This tilt goes on and on . It was quite a stack . One I had never seen before . I ’ve never had somebody implore at my feet like their spirit was on the line . So it pulled at my heartstrings and I handed it over .
Not even a thank you mind you . She rushes up to counter and the lady friend behind says something to the effect of your kids are gon na be so happy as the mom forks over the cash . When the system gets in her hand , she tells the counter young woman “ Kids ? This fucker is give way right on ebay ! ” . I grab the mommy ’s shoulder and start to say something and she pepper sprays me . I was told she just run out the door . creative thinker you nobody sees me get pepper spray and I ’m asked to leave the store for try on to produce disurbance . With my sinus competely exploding and my eyes swelling shut , I ’m dragged outside the doorway and dumped on the pavement . “ And do n’t you do back , we ’ve got your characterization ! ” I hear a vox say . I ’m sure that was my last visit in any event .
But at least I did n’t pay up for my batteries …
