Love Is Blindseason 7 seemed to start off strong, but seven episodes in, there are key villains at play in the Netflix cast. Set in Washington, D.C., six couples were chosen by Kinetic Content to be featured in the season: Garrett Josemans & Taylor Krause, Hannah Jiles & Nick Dorka, Ramses Prashad & Marissa George, Alex Byrd & Tim Godbee, Tyler Francis & Ashley Adionser, and Monica Davis & Stephen Richardson. While theLove Is Blindseason 7 castseemed strong, many of the couples have fallen apart due to villainous behavior.
Love Is Blindseason 7created fewer love triangles than usual, with Hannah easily choosing Nick afterart dealer Leo Braudyattacked her in the pods. Despite proposing to esthetician and sugar baby wannabe Brittany Wisniewski in the pods, the bizarre pair were not chosen to go to Mexico. However, the lack of love triangles didn’t prove to be a problem forLove Is Blindseason 7, which turned out to be chock-full of manipulators, liars, and cheaters. 8Hannah Jiles
She Belittled Nick
Hannah has been a confusing character inLove Is Blindseason 7 from the start. As the youngest member of the cast at age 26, Hannah quit her job to appear on the show. Leo lauded her as being the “most mature” woman on the show despite being the youngest, and enjoyed that she seemed curious. However, it’s more likely that Leo liked that he could mansplain art to her. Regardless, she returned to pod connection Nick after discovering that Leo had a relationship with Brittany.

Nick and Hannah simply weren’t compatible. She was no fun, and seemed to take joy in making Nick afraid of her. Hannah insisted on thoroughly cleaning the house every day and expected Nick to do the same. She called him a “b*tch baby” to his face in front of Cade, her brother. Even Cade admitted to Nick that Hannah could be mean and couldn’t take a joke.Hannah’s parents seemed to echo her brother’s concerns. They urged her to stop nitpicking on Nick, and told her she could be too harsh on people. While it’s understandable to have high expectations, Hannah seemed to hate Nick and look for any chance to belittle and berate him.
7Nick Dorka
He Exaggerated In The Pods
While Hannah had been condescending and overbearing towards Nick since she saw he wasn’t the burly football player she was expecting, Nick wasn’t exactly innocent.Nick proved himself to be a master of weaponized incompetenceand exaggeration in the pods. Nick claimed to cook all the time and be a good chef in the pods, but when Hannah asked him to cook the pasta, he appeared to not know what to do. He didn’t even know how to bring water to a boil.

Nick was pursuing a professional football careerup until a couple of years ago, so his reliance on his parents was understandable. However, he still lived with his parents, who presumably cooked his meals, cleaned his space, and paid his bills, as evidenced by his conversation with Hannah. While Nick seemed to be an earnest guy,Love Is Blindwasn’t the right place for him, and he wasn’t ready for marriage. It was borderline villainous for him to claim to be a professional football player with a pool table in his basement.
6Ramses Prashad
His Views On Birth Control Were Hypocritical
Ramses showed his true colors in the recent drop ofLove Is Blindseason 7 episodes. As a proudly progressive man, Ramses spoke openly about not supporting the “arm of U.S. imperialism,” not believing in the ethics of billionaires, and his criticisms of the military. While he had a right to his own beliefs, he knew about Marissa’s past in the military and chose to be with her anyway. He was judgmental and critical of her disentanglement from her time in the service and conflicted feelings regarding patriotism in the United States.
Ramses was so judgmental of Marissa’s more centrist beliefs that it was shocking when he refused to consider Marissa’s feelings about contraception.
However, Ramses proved he was a total hypocrite during a conversation about contraception and women’s rights to their own bodies.Marissa approached Ramses about not wanting to go back on birth control, and he replied that he didn’t want to have “condom sex” because he didn’t think it felt as good. While this would be a terribly irresponsible and sexist take no matter what, the rest of Ramses' political beliefs seemed to align with progressive, feminist ideals. Ramses showed that his progressive beliefs didn’t extend past his own comfort, and his own preferences took precedence.
5Vanessa Abad
She Was A Toxic Parent
Curiosity swirled regarding whose mother ripped a fiancé apart in theNetflixtrailer released just before the show aired, and Vanessa Abad, Marissa’s mom, exceeded expectations. Without a doubt, Marissa’s mom was the most toxic parent to ever appear onLove Is Blind. While it’s fair to have concerns regarding one’s child choosing to get engaged and married within a month of meeting,Vanessa took vitriol to the next level. She seemed to project her own insecurities on to Marissa and her relationship.
Marissa’s mom was definitely entertaining, but there were multiple red flags in her behavior.
Almost immediately, she insulted Ramses' hair and style, and called her own daughter a “b*tch.” She revealed that her children had multiple fathers, which explained her belief that lifelong love doesn’t exist. Marissa’s mom was clear in her distrust of Ramses, and insisted he sign a prenup to protect Marissa’s future assets, since she was in law school at the time. Though Vanessa was entertaining, she also cast herself as a season villain due to her attitude towards Ramses.
4Alex Byrd
She Covered Tim’s Mouth During An Argument
Alexwas a complicated character inLove Is Blindseason 7, but unfortunately, she was ultimately a villain. Tim Godbee trauma dumped on Alex in the pods, getting emotional when speaking about his two sisters who died. Unfortunately, once Tim and Alex got to Mexico, Alex realized she couldn’t stand him. She hated his “dog in me” comments and woofing, and wouldn’t even let him buy a fun hat. She consistently dimmed Tim’s shine, similar to howCatherine Richards treated Freddie PowellinLove Is Blind UK.
While their epic blowout appeared off-camera,Alex covering Tim’s mouth to get him to stop talkingwas unacceptable behavior. Tim told Alex that he hated to fight and wouldn’t tolerate it, but she loved an aggressive, toxic relationship. While Tim gave her another chance, her bad behavior continued through the latest drop of episodes.
Tim looked horrified when he saw her house, which was strewn with clothes and much dirtier than his pristine home. She also threw Tim to the wolves when she expected him to woo her father. Alex expected princess treatment because of her dad’s love, but she was actually aLove Is Blindvillain.
3Leo Braudy
He Was A Manipulative Bully
Leo’s villainy was reserved for the pod episodes, but he was a shocking character in the series. He complained that women only ever wanted him for his wealth, but proceeded to brag about his Rolex and how much money he made. Additionally,Leo basically said he’d rather his whole family pass awaythan not have money. He then added that he got a huge inheritance when his parents and other family members died of cancer.
His treatment of both Hannah and Brittany was concerning. He kept them both on the hook until the last moment possible. Additionally, when Hannah tried to break up with him, he proceeded to bully and manipulate her. When Leo realized it was too late to salvage his relationship with Hannah, he begged her to put in a good word for him with Brittany, which he refused to do.
When Leo proposed to and met up with Brittany, his behavior was outlandish. He completely smothered her even though her body language indicated she wasn’t interested. Leo may have only appeared in the first four episodes, but his cartoonishly villainous actions certainly made a splash.
2Tyler Francis
He Allegedly Has Three Children
Tyler and Ashley’s love was way too good to be true. From the pods through Mexico, the pair constantly asserted their devotion to each other. When Tyler led Ashley in prayer before bedtime, was he thinking of the family he would build with her, or the three kids he kept secret? According to reality TV account@storytimewithrikii, the mother of Tyler’s three children, Bri Thomas, revealed the truth of their relationship.Tyler made it sound like he was a sperm donor, but according to Bri, that was incorrect.
Tyler has yet to speak out regarding his three children and former fiancé, and he deserves to tell his side of the story. Hopefully, he’ll clear up the situation at the reunion.
Bri deleted various posts on her Instagram that featured Tyler having a close relationship with the three children, including one where he was wearing a shirt that said “dad.” It’s unclear if Tyler had a romantic relationship with Bri, but he does seem to be the father of her three children and has been involved in their lives. Furthermore,@storytimewithrikiialso revealed that Tyler was engaged to reporter Mikea Turner when Bri was pregnant with her first child.
There are still plenty of questions surrounding Tyler’s situation, but he and Netflix both owe Ashley an apology. He may have deleted all the posts with his children before appearing on the show, butLove Is Blindproducers proved they didn’t careabout the cast when they didn’t look deeper into Tyler’s past. Ashley didn’t deserve her life to get blown up for entertainment, and Tyler should’ve told her about the kids in the pods instead of two weeks before their wedding.
1Stephen Richardson
He Cheated On Monica During The Experiment
Stephenmight be the worstLove Is Blindvillain ever, let alone season 7. He dropped various red flags in the pods with Monica, especially when revealing his Nigerian ancestry. Stephen also called Monica a “mutt” at one point and wouldn’t stop talking, never letting her get a word in edgewise. While Monica was undoubtedly high maintenance and demanding,Stephen was troubling at every turn. He also seemed to pressure Monica for sex, believed that women would be hitting him up in his direct messages on Instagram after the show, and admitted to cheating in his past.
Monica clearly couldn’t stand Stephen, and he was afraid of her. He didn’t put up a fight when Monica discovered inappropriate texts from a woman less than two weeks before their wedding. However, the lie that he was drunk at a sleep test was completely outlandish and ridiculous. Stephen was always talking about sex and even wanted Monica to “treat [him] like a piece of meat” and asserted that men want sex all the time. Stephen was a walking red flag from start to finish, and Monica is much better off without theLove Is Blindvillain.
