Syngin doesn’t exactly have a gift for making women feel fulfilled. However, he still griped about the situation, although he did seem like he might be joking. Maybe he doesn’t mind his new “friend” tagging along during car rides.
While Syngin’s complaint was lighthearted, it may signal trouble in the future. Syngin may be relaxed enough to make polygamy work. In theory, if a man isn’t too controlling, a plural relationship can thrive. However, the real “red flag” issue here is that Shayna may not really want to be a polygamist. If that’s the case, these two are doomed. Yes, she might be willing to live with it for a while, but eventually, her anger, jealousy and general disgust with her relationship will surface, and after she shares her real feelings, nothing will ever be the same.
The fact that Syngin seems like such a wishy-washy guy, but wants such a bold relationship model, leaves me questioning his motives? Are they sexual? I think so.
I don’t careif the sometimes likable Synginwants to sleep with two women. That doesn’t bother me. I am a liberal person and as long as everyone involved is cool with the situation, that’s good enough for me. However, there is another concern that I have, and that’s the financial element. Syngin isn’t known for his love of the “grind” (and I’m talking about work here, not anything else). Possibly, and I may not be giving him enough credit here, he could benefit financially if he had two female partners earning money and sharing it with him.
Polygamous unions don’t thrill me. In fact, they are a gross-out, but I am open-minded enough to consider the fact that other people are raised differently.They perceive these unions as good things rather than emotional prisons that leave women suffering in silence, according to the shockingly sad principle of “sacred loneliness.”
Sister wives aren’t supposed to get jealous or complain - this seems like a lot to ask. If I found myself in some compound with a bunch of other women, trapped in a polygamous union, I would do all I could to remove myself from the twisted dynamic, even if I had to plan out someEscape From Alcatraz-style jailbreak.
Truthfully, I’d probably get kicked out of the coven, or whatever it’s called, long before I had to escape. My crime would be insubordination. The point is, I wouldn’t last long in that situation, and I bet a lot of women would be just the same. Shayna might be.

So, in light of these red flags, I’m calling this one early in the game - I think the couple will break up someday. Hopefully, I’m wrong - I don’t particularly want to be right. I wouldrather Syngin was happy. However, his kooky polygamy demand is concerning - I know there’s women who prefer non-monogamous situations, but I haven’t actually met many of them - have you?
I find it kind of amusing that he wants to try this, just because I can see the potential drama brewing. If he can make it work, great. The90 Day Fiancéstar is on his own path, and he doesn’t deserve to be judged for possibly rejecting a traditional relationship model. However, I personally think he should attempt to strengthen this relationship before he changes its dynamic forever.
