“Introducing Zuko into the gang is going to be really dope. The Ozai fight would also be super sick. That’s going to be so cool with all the effects and everything. I think that’s going to look awesome.”

What To Expect From Zuko In Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2

Zuko Is Exposed To The Fire Nation’s True Effects.

The seeds of Zuko’s eventual defection were already sown in how season 1 adapted his character into live-action. Thoughthis experience would lead to Zuko growing bitter, his mercy on his soldiers earned their loyalty and respect, proving him capable of being a great leader, even without the cruelty and ambitions of his relatives.

Alone and unprepared, Zuko’s perspective will be forever challenged, inspiring him to stand up to his mentors and tormentors.
