Adventure Timeis filled with colorful, goofy, and occasionally creepy characters, and Lemongrab might be the most complete mix of all three characteristics.Over 10 seasons ofAdventure Time, dozens of cute, funny, evil, heroic, and everything-in-between characters have been introduced to flesh outthe show’s extensive lore. Of all the strange kingdoms in the Land of Ooo, the Earldom of Lemongrab may be the strangest, and it’s ruled by the tyrannical, if often laughable, fist of the Earl of Lemongrab.
The shrieking candy person, who is voiced by Justin Roiland, and Jinkx Monsoon in the spinoffFionna and CakeafterRoiland was accused of sexual misconduct and assault, was originally a creation of Princess Bubblegum’s long before the show started. An annoyance to many and a violent overseer to the people he is put in charge of,no one much cares for Lemongrab and the episodes that feature him rarely show him in a heroic light, but he has had some growth over the years.
15Hero Heart (Season 9, Episode 8)
Lemonpink And Pink Lemon Camel Make An Appearance
In “Hero Heart”, which also serves as part 7 of theElementssaga, a full-scale war breaks out between the Candy People and the fire people led byAdventure Time’s fire princess. Lemongrab only appears for a brief cameo in the episode. He is in his Lemonpink form in this episode, briefly seen riding his Pink Lemon Camel.
14The Light Cloud (Season 8, Episode 27)
Lemongrab Appears In A Flashback
“The Light Cloud” sees Finn, Jake, and BMO confronting the power that rules Founders Island. Finn also must confront his biological mother, Minerva Campbell, whose consciousness lives on the island. The episode features several flashbacks, including one to season 6, episode 28, “The Mountain”, where he helps Lemongrab, provingLemongrab’s presence in Finn’s life is a core part of his history.
13Normal Man (Season 8, Episode 7)
Lemongrab And LSP Go On A Date
In “Normal Man”, the eponymous Normal Man asks Jake and Finn for help. Usually a villain, Normal Man has to go to his rivals to rescue his brother, Glob, who has been captured by Tiny Manticore. Lemongrab has a brief cameo in the episode having a picnic with Lumpy Space Princess (LSP), but he’s accidentally knocked unconscious by Tiny. This is the first time any romantic link has been shown between Lemongrab and LSP, or Lemongrab and anyone, for that matter.
12Skyhooks (Season 9, Episode 2)
Lemonpink Provides Lemonade For Everyone
Lemonpink and her camel Pink Lemon Camel have a notable guest appearance in season 9’s “Skyhooks”. The episode begins with Jake and Finn returning to Ooo after a long absence and much has changed. For one, Lemongrab is now pink and much more helpful. Dubbed “Lemonpink”, he now happily shares his juice with the adventurers and then goes on his way. Lemonpink would go on to appear in more episodes afterward.
11Come Along With Me (Season 10, Episode 13)
Lemongrab Finally Kisses LSP
"Come Along with Me" is the series finale and is often cited as one of thebestAdventure Timeepisodes ever. The finale finds all the characters coming together for one final battle and to end their story arcs that have been winding their way to this episode. After staying behind to defend Ooo with the other heroes, Lemongrab gets a sweet sendoff that finally sees him loving and being loved in return. In the midst of the battle, he and LSP share a kiss.
10Diamonds And Lemons (Season 10 Bonus Episode)
An Adventure Time And Minecraft Crossover
"Diamonds and Lemons" is a Minecraft andAdventure Timecrossover bonus episode that premiered between the 12th and 13th episodes of the final season and takes a break from the established lore of the show to try something new. The characters all find themselves in a Minecraft world, complete with blockheads. Lemongrab has a b-plot where he desperately attempts to plant and grow a tree. It’s a task that proves difficult, much to his frustration.
9Another Five More Short Graybles (Season 5, Episode 24)
Lemongrab And His Brother Have A Disagreement
Lemongrab and his brother Lemongrab 2 share an unsettling b-plot in “Another Five More Short Graybles”. While Jake and Finn do their best to entertain Jake Jr. the Lemongrab brothers play with a little toy Lemongrab. However, they have different ideas about how exactly the toy should be played with, anda brotherly argument turns to horror when Lemongrab devours his brother whole in anger. It’s a disturbing sequence of events and shows just how far Lemongrab’s rage can go.
8Mystery Dungeon (Season 5, Episode 8)
Lemongrab And The Gang Have To Escape A Dungeon
"Mystery Dungeon" is one of the fewAdventure Timeepisodes to feature Lemongrab as a hero of sorts. He wakes up alongside Ice King, Neptr, Tree Trunks, and Shelby in a mysterious dungeon that no one knows how they ended up inside. Together, the unlikely team has to solve a series of puzzles to escape. Lemongrab proves to be surprisingly heroic and forward-thinking, though still slightly out of his mind, and provides a different look at the odd character.

Lemongrab Finally Gets A Friend
In "You Made Me", Lemongrab begins to notice that no one wants to live under his rule and is growing increasingly lonely. At first, Princess Bubblegum tries to introduce him to the citizens of the Candy Kingdom, but that goes poorly. At the end of the episode, PB creates a clone of Lemongrab for him to be friends with.Lemongrab is just as frustrated with his lack of friends as others are with him, a dichotomy that drives him to do some pretty unsavory things.
