I obviously can’t say much, but what I can say is that this season is wild. The whole production is really attempting to do something that I don’t think has ever been done on TV before. The scale is immense. The sets are enormous, the action exponentialized, and all of us in the cast are somehow even closer than I think we’ve ever been. - TAZ SKYLAR

From Featuring Giants To Snowy and Desert Landscapes, Season 2 Will Be Much Bigger Than Season 1

Though teasers and trailers for Season 2 ofOne Piecehave yet to be revealed, the confirmed cast and the events following the Straw Hats, as they begin their grand adventure through the Grand Line help, pinpoint just how wild this season is going to be, as Taz suggests. Taz Skylar Is Very Grateful for His Role as Sanji

Taz Skylar Reveals That Sanji Has Helped Him Build a Successful Career

The interview also features Taz answering how playing Sanji has impacted his career, and he makes it clear that it has helped him significantly. Taz goes as far as to say that playing Sanji is the only reason he was given the opportunity to meet renowned director Martin Campbell, which led to his role in the action-thriller film,Cleaner. Taz’s career in entertainment and as a public figure seems to have been elevated, and while he is grateful, he also shares his struggles with rising popularity.

How has playing Sanji impacted you both professionally and personally?

Professionally, it’s definitely given me opportunities I would have never gotten before. I don’t think it’s just a coincidence that I got a call to meet Martin Campbell, the week after ‘One Piece’ came out. It’s validated me as a creative in some ways and I’m thankful for the projects I get to look at and consider now.

Personally, it’s been a rollercoaster. It’s so cool to have people like something I did. It’s awesome to see people smile when they see me. Everyone wants to give you their best self and it’s humbling. But on the other hand, it’s like a buffet of attention and it’s easy to overeat. Boundaries are a concept I always loathed because it sounds so clinical to have boundaries, but I’ve realised that they’re necessary to keep myself healthy. Time is something I guard in a military-esque way. And my privacy is something I never knew I’d value so much til it eroded. I’m enjoying the ride, but stopping to check in with myself a lot more than I used to.

Taz reveals that although he appreciates the affection he’s receiving, he worries about his privacy and implies that boundaries are necessary to keep himself healthy. In summary, NetflixOne Piece’s Sanji, Taz Skylar, is nothing but grateful for the role, and his recent interview shows it has been both a joyful and wild experience, one he can’t wait to share with the fans.
