“Comfortably Numb” October 18th my newest song and one that I am SO PROUD to announce is the next single off my upcoming DEBUT ALBUM “Ghosts in the Backyard”!!!!!

In 2020, out of sheer and complete boredom during quarantine, I made a bucket list. The very first goal I wrote down was to release an album, despite having no clue how I would ever accomplish that. On November 15th, I’ll be able to cross it off my bucket list :) this album is both a time stamp and a milestone for me, exploring empty relationships, heavy nostalgia, and every up and down that led me to the incredible journey of making music for you. I could cry just thinking about it, and I hope this song and album mean as much to you as they do to me. presave now.

Our Take On Abi Carter’s Debut Album Announcement

Abi Doesn’t Have The Support Of A Huge Record Company

It’ll be very interesting to see how well Abi’s debut album,Ghosts In The Backyard, performs upon its release, especially since she’s still an independent artist. She won’t have the support that could come with being signed with theIdol-affiliated label 19 Recordings. However, recentAmerican Idolwinners aren’t finding the success early winners had. Just Sam parted ways after butting heads with their record company. Noah Thompson was dropped by his label.Iam Tongi has yet to releasea full-length album.

Maybe it’s for the best that Abi has decided to bypass a major record companyright from the start. That way, she won’t have to deal with the heartache that’ll come if she’s dropped by the label if her music doesn’t perform well. Regardless of the record label situation, Abi deserves huge success with her upcoming debut album. Hopefully, her fans love it just as much as she does and that she’ll be able to continue performing concerts and releasing music for many years to come afterAmerican Idol.

American Idol

Cast

American Idol is a reality singing competition that adds to the international “Idol” brand, conceived initially in the U.K. as Pop Idol. Holding massive auditions across the U.S., American Idol invited several contestants to perform in front of a panel of judges that would determine whether or not they’d go on to future rounds for a chance at competing in the fully televised premiere of the show. Contestants are voted off each week by American participation via voting through various mediums, and the winner of the competition would be given a contract with a record label to secure a future as America’s next musical idol.
