She’s Constantly Complaining
Over the first few episodes ofBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5, Danni has positioned herself as a lazy and entitled Stew. Early in the season,Danni voiced strong complaints about her tasks, particularly with cabin cleaning, and clashed with Daisy over table settings. Daisy, known for her no-nonsense approach, criticized Danni for overly emotional reactions and frequent mistakes with details like glass placement, which Danni attributed to her previous training. Danni’s complaint that Daisy’s table decorations were “tacky” as she fought back tears was a bizarre twist.

Dannidefended herself on social media, explaining that she struggled with tonsillitis early on in the charter season, which impacted her energy and performance.
“I was soooooo sick the first few charters… note the extreme whining about doing cabins and emotions hehehe my bad.. But a lil trip to the doctor and some TLC from my girls,” she wrote, acknowledging that she looked bad onscreen.
Danni credited her fellow crew members, Diana and Emma Crouch, for helping her through her recovery, which wasn’t seen on the show.
Danni doesn’t seem to understand that Stews have to work hard in addition to enjoying nights off after a charter.
Despite her explanations, it doesn’t excuse her complaints to Daisy about doing cabins or learning how to make cocktails. Danni’s skills onboard the Parsifal III were lacking, and Daisy needed her interior crew to be competent. Unfortunately, Danni seems allergic to hard work.

While Keith has admitted that Danni is attractive, he’s clearly turned off by her overly flirty behavior. Unlike womanizer Gary,Keith adopted a more professional attitudeamid the typical yacht drama, taking the high road like Colin used to do. Even though Danni hits on him, even in front of guests, Keith stands out for his hardworking approach, which contrasts with Danni’s laziness. Danni probably isn’t even that into Keith; she’s just desperate for a boatmance. She zeroed in on him for his affability from the jump, but Keith is onboard to work and form friendships, not participate in drama.
