WhileBleach: Thousand Year Blood War’s fourth and final season might be its most anticipated, it seems like it will not be released for quite some time. Although this might be terrible news for fans, it is quite the opposite and could be just what the series needs the most as it looks to end its successful return after a decade.

On a recent segment for KrewBeInside, new projects forBleachwere announced, and it was exciting, to say the least. Besides the release of many gorgeous illustrations by the creator of the series, Tite Kubo,Kisuke Urahara’s Bankai was shown, a high school spin-off was confirmed, and the light novels would receive another installment. However, speakers at the event also implied thatBleach: Thousand Year Blood Warcour 4 would not be released in 2025, which was disappointing for many, but it has some great benefits for the series.

Bleach’s Final Season Needs As Much Time As Possible

The Anime Will Come Back Better Than Ever

Normally, there would be about a year in between each season, with season 1 being released in 2022, season 2 in 2023, and season 3 in 2024. However, it seems that this time the next season will not follow this pattern and instead take longer to return. There’s a plethora of reasons why this is good, the biggest being that the staff will have more time to make the season better with the allotted time extension. While not terrible, cour 2 was a big step down from the first in terms of quality, and this makes sense given the season aired only 6 months after the end of the first.

10 Things We Want Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War To Improve From The Manga

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War’s anime is nearly done, but there are still some major tweaks to the story that are needed for a satisfying ending.

Fortunately, cour 3 was even much better, and the improvement in quality was very evident. There was a one-year gap between when it aired and when cour 2 ended, and the fact that the staff revealed how dedicated they were to making it as good as possible made the end product a delight to watch. Furthermore, in an NHK interview with Studio Pierrot, producer Yoshihiro Tominaga revealed howthe creation of Pierrot Films helped remove the constraintsbrought about by money, time, and staff, so it is not surprising that cour 4 is taking much longer than previous seasons.
