Bob’s Burgerswill be celebrating a milestone during its 16th season that many network TV shows don’t reach — its 300th episode. The monumental half-hour will arrive in season 16, episode 2, and feature the Belchers going back to their roots. Additionally, Bouchard confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 thatthe season will include Halloween and Christmas episodes(viaTV Insider).
In an exciting turn of events,Fox renewedBob’s Burgersfor four more seasons. The writing was on the wall that season 16 was inbound, but now Fox has ordered seasons 17, 18, and 19 as well.This pushes the show into the 2028-2029 TV season and closer to its 20th yearon the air. So, it’ll reach many more milestones.

It was never even considered that Fox would cancelBob’s Burgersafter season 15, but the network’s decision to order four more seasons was somewhat surprising. Renewed at the same time asThe Simpsons,Family Guy, andAmerican Dad!,Bob’s Burgersis going to continue to anchor Fox’s animation slate on Sundays for most of the remainder of the decade.
Unfortunately, the renewal order did come with the caveat thatall future seasons would be shortened to 15 episodes instead of the usual 20 or more. This isn’t unusual forBob’s Burgers. The show has seen its episode count reduced in recent seasons.

DuringtheBob’s BurgersSDCC 2025 panel, Bouchard teased what’s to come in season 6 regarding episodes and stories. First of all,the 300th episode will be titled, “Grand Pre-Pre-Opening.“As for its premise, Bouchard revealed:
“In the present day, Bob is really sweating whether or not to raise prices, and it’s killing him. It sends us on this kind of series of flashbacks to just what was going on when Bob and Linda started the restaurant.”
The Fox animated sitcom is (finally) taking the audience back to where it all began for season 16, episode 2 (aka the show’s 300th episode). As mentioned above, the season will also feature Halloween and Christmas episodes. During the spooky half-hour, Teddy will take a job at the new cult store next door. Meanwhile,the Christmas episode takes place in a Christmas village.
Aside from these big episodes, Bouchard also teased another, smaller story. In season 16,viewers will watch as Gayle asks Teddy to officiate her wedding.However, the only reason she’s getting married is for an art piece. Fans must stay tuned to learn ’s Burgersseason 16’s episodes and stories.
