With an all-newCaptain Americafilm on the horizon, Marvel Comics has announced a limited series where Sam Wilson will officially go up against his movie’s antagonist,Red Hulk. Before Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford go head-to-head on the big screen, their comic characters will have their first definitive battle. In a bit of synergy between Marvel’s comics and film divisions, Sam Wilson’s Cap soars into a fresh action-packed adventure.

Marvel released the first details of their latest limited series’first issue,Sam Wilson: Captain America#1– written by Greg Pak and Evan Narcisse with art by Eder Messias.The cover by Taurin Clarke illustrates a first look at the new Captain America story taking cues from the upcoming MCU film with Red Hulk, also previewing a fewadditional surprise characters joining the mix.
