Cobra Kaistar Mary Mouser has explained how Sam (Mouser) views Tory (Peyton List) after their fight within Miyagi-Do and her betrayal going into season 6 part 2.Cobra Kaiseason 6part 1 featured some conflict between the two martial arts students. However, their learning to work together became a key part of the team’s evolution during the final season’s first episodes. However, their arguments and in-fighting are about to become the least of their battles, with Tory deciding to join John Kreese (Martin Kove) and his new version of Cobra Kai during the Sekai Taikai.
Speaking withScreen Rant, Mouser explained howSam’s perspective on Tory and their fight within Miyagi-Do has changed following her betrayal inCobra Kaiseason 6. The actor revealed how she believed their fighting one another has always caused “another cut deeper” in their relationship, even after they made up and became more friendly with each other. However, she believes her new turn to the antagonists' side will make it difficult for Sam to see her as an enemy after their recent training together. Check out what Mouser had to say below:
I think every time that we’ve fought against one another is another cut deeper. It has deepened that wound to the point of not necessarily knowing if it was possible to be healed, and all the healing that we got to do for those first few episodes of being connected — which we were both really excited about — was a new challenge. Trying to play friends was a new challenge for us. So, I thought that going back to having tension would feel more natural, but after having that closeness, it was even harder for me to tackle as an actor. So, I felt for Sam it was coming from a different place now. I think the come from is really important. I think the come from before was it was easy to put the face of a villain on Tory, because she was a scapegoat for Sam. But getting to know Tory as a three-dimensional person, the next time that they run into each other, it’s a lot of hurt.

The Duo Will Be On Opposing Sides Of Sekai Taikai
Thecharacters inCobra Kaihave always been close to one another, even in times of strife and argument, making them the perfect team in the process. But, with the former now joining Kreese at the end of part 1, it seems their relationship is going to be taking a few steps backward. However, it will be a challenge, considering their conflict-riddled past and the shocking betrayal in part 1.
