Cena Doesn’t Believe Rhodes Is Authentic
Cena explained thatwhat Rhodes truly lacks is authenticity, that he’s been protected and simply rode the coattails of Cena’s greatness to his own success. He claimed Rhodes is just a combination of all the wrestlers and TV show characters he was a fan of growing up and comes off like a 16-year-old who is still afraid of public speaking. To Cena, Rhodes is simply “an errand boy who got lucky.”

Cody Rhodes had his first encounter with John Cena on this week’s edition of RAW on Netflix, but who won their hot face-off?
Rhodes fired back, pointing out how the fans chose him and that Cena was a corporate creation chosen by Vince McMahon (though he refrained from naming him). He finally addressedCena’s decision to align with The Rock, but Cena went right back into hurling insults at Rhodes (including another reference to AEW by saying Rhodes “stole” money from the children of billionaires) before attempting to leave the ring.

Rhodes drew Cena back into the ring by reminding him that, for everything that has been said about Rhodes,the fans never hit him with the “You Can’t Wrestle!” chant. Cena got back in ready for a fight, pretended to back off and finally tried to swing at Rhodes. The reigning Undisputed WWE Champion dodged the punch, trapped Cena’s head anddelivered a Cross Rhodes.
Rhodes and Cena will meet in the main event ofWrestleMania 41Night 2 on April 20 in Las Vegas. It was confirmed on this past week’s WWE SmackDown that the Night 1 main event will be Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk.
