Cookie Run Kingdom (CRK) just dropped an update, adding a new event along with a banner for Cream Soda Cookie. This cookie is well-known in other Cookie Run games, including the Tower of Adventures (ToA), where she debuted as the first-ever featured banner. With that said, the shadow update is not just a random occurrence.
To celebrate the 1st anniversary of Cookie Run ToA, its sister title, CRK is giving away Cream Soda for free along with other rewards. All you have to do is play ToA during the event period and complete various objectives.

The event is pretty straightforward, but it can take time to complete. Basically, you need to download and play Cookie Run ToA to get the rewards, including a free Cream Soda Cookie in CRK.

Keep in mind that the collaboration rewards for playing ToA are only for Cookie Run Kingdom. You can get up to two free copies of Cream Soda Cookie from this event. This means you are guaranteed to get at least one star promotion. You can get more by pulling on her banner.
