Notably, this anthology breaks away from traditionalD&Dart styles, with each adventure featuring distinctive art primarily by one artist.

This weekend at Magic Con Chicago,Wizards of the Coast officially revealed the standard and alternate covers forDragon Delves. The standard cover by BritishMagic: The Gatheringartist Greg Staples features the five chromatic dragons looming over a group of three adventurers. While each adventure is supposed to be standalone, there will be three campaign options that allow DMs to link the adventures together. Adventures will range from Level 1 to Level 12. Dungeons & Dragons Confirms This One Easter Egg Will No Longer Appear In Rulebooks

Dungeons & Dragons is getting rid of humorous disclaimers that have appeared in every rulebook since the start of Fifth Edition.

Dragon Delvesalso departs from Wizards' in-house style forD&Danthology books. As mentioned earlier, each adventure in the anthology features artwork created by a different artist. While most D&D artists conform to an in-house style, the art in Dragon Delves all provide their own unique style to the work. Confirmed artists with work appearing inDragon Delvesinclude Luke Eidensink, Dominik Mayer, and Ed Kwong. The new book will be released on July 29, 2025, and will be available on D&D Beyond, at game stores, and online retailers.

Our Take: D&D Dragon Anthology Could Be A Low-Key Banger

D&D Anthology Looks Cool, With Big Dragon Adventures

Traditionally,D&D’s anthologies have struggled to really hold my interest. The adventures in the books provide some solid material for homebrew campaigns, but the lack of setting material and any kind of unique style makes these anthologies a bit boring at times. By emphasizing the art,Dragon Delvesfeels different from otherD&Danthologies. Not only should the book be fun to read, but I love the idea ofD&Dpublishing adventures that lean into a unique art style to evoke certain feelings.Dragon Delvesis at the top of my most-anticipatedDungeons & Dragonsbooks of 2025.
