With the masked vigilante missing and Vincent D’Onofrio’sWilson Fisk taking office as mayor, Matt focuses on his law career to fix the unrest that Fisk has caused.

Initially set to be 18 episodes, season 1 ofDaredevil: Born Againended up being split up meaning that there will be some time in between seasons. So far, season 1 has given fans insight intoMatt’s life without Daredeviland has a heavier focus on his career as a lawyer. It’s safe to assume thatMatt’s continuing clashes with Kingpin will build up into the return of Daredevil and the start of season 2. Until then, there are still plenty of episodes left in season 1 to explore Matt’s journey in the aftermath of Hector Ayala’s trial.

Episode 4 ofDaredevil: Born Againwill be released onTuesday, March 18. As usual, the episode will be available to stream on Disney+ by9 p.m. ET. It will be released simultaneously worldwide, so fans can start watching by8 p.m. CT, 7 p.m. MT, and 6 p.m. PT.Daredevil: Born Againhad the benefit of being a follow-up series. The show was able to jump right into the action in its opening few episodes rather than taking time for exposition, and it’ll surely continue this pace as it moves into its mid-season arc.

What To Expect From Daredevil: Born Again Episode 4

Matt’s court victory is going to swiftly come crashing down in episode 4. After being proven innocent in the murder of a police officer, Hector Ayala immediately took to the streets again to fight crime as the White Tiger. However, in a move to stay true to his anti-vigilante platform, Fisk has him killed. The last scene of episode 3 isHector being shot in the head by someone wearing the Punisher’s logo. Episode 4 will not only explore the aftermath of Hector’s death, but it will also feature the return of a very notable character, Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle.

Daredevil: Born Again episode 3 ends with another shocking twist that seals a character’s fate and teases a dark storyline for the rest of season 1.

The anti-hero Punisher is a complex character who Daredevil has clashed with before. It’ll be interesting to see how Matt will take the news of Hector’s death, knowing that it was supposedly at the hands of Punisher, if he is even privy to that information at all. Matt put so much effort into proving Hector’s innocence that the death would surely be a shock, and it wouldn’t be long before he makes the connection back to Fisk. PerhapsDaredevil: Born Againepisode 4 will be the catalyst that Matt needs to pick up the Daredevil mask once again.
