However,it seems the movie should have in fact been placed much earlier in the MCU’s timeline.
Avengers: Endgamewas set primarily in 2023, meaning most of the projects in the Multiverse Saga have taken place in 2024 onwards.
SinceDeadpool & Wolverineis set in 2024, the movie should have been placed at around the same time asShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Eternals, Spider-Man: No Way HomeandHawkeye. This confuses its connection to the ending ofLokiseason 2, as well as the events ofLogan, which takes place in 2029 on Earth-10005.
