Six years after the first movie,Den Of Thieves 2: Panteraunites a drastically different cast. The first film follows elite detectives trying to stop a crew of ex-Marine thieves from robbing the Federal Reserves. As for the sequel, it takes the story to Europe while promising higher stakes in the process. In the sequel, Donnie Wilson joins a new crew led by Jovanna (Evin Ahmad), and soon he finds his old enemy, Big Nick O’Brien, wanting to join up as well, as Nick needs to get Donnie’s money from the first movie’s heist for his own purposes.
FollowingDen of Thieves’ending, both of the first movie’s co-leads return to reprise their roles.But while O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Gerard Butler are returning, their dynamic won’t be the same, as the sequel will put a twist on the cat-and-mouse trope by teaming them up - at least on the surface. Another change pertains to the cast.Den of Thieves 2looks to be surrounding them with an unfamiliar cast of supporting characters, as a new heist has new players.
