How The Heir Of Perdition’s Unique Effect Works

The Helmet Buffs Damage With A Catch

Putting on the Heir of Perdition will immediately activate its unique effect, giving you a stack of Mother’s Favor. For each stack of Mother’s Favor you have, you will do an additional 60% damage to enemies. The only way to get additional stacks is to steal them from other players using the Heir of Perdition. You will temporarily steal their stack if you are killing more enemies than them nearby. You can also lose your stack to them if you are being outperformed.

Aside from its unique ability, the Heir of Perdition also gives you a buff that lets you do 200% damage to angels and demons. The interesting part of this effect is thatDiablo 4does not currently have any angel enemies. This could hint at new future enemies being added to the game at some point.
