The photos showcase many storylines from the upcoming season, including the arrival of Olivia’s (Olagundoye) sister Monica (Yvette Nicole Brown), who is pictured seemingly avoiding the romantic attentions of a new character played by Rafael Cebrián.
Other incoming characters include the scatterbrained therapist Doc Stathos (Amy Sedaris), who can be seen laughing with Frasier, bartender Holly (Patricia Heaton), who is pictured goofing around with Frasier, and Alice Doyle (Greer Grammer),a potential romantic flame for Frasier’s son Freddy,who can be seen in an awkward moment onscreen with Frasier, who is portrayed by Greer’s real-life father.

The many familiar faces from the originalFrasiercastas well as the return to the iconic KACL in the upcoming Seattle-themed episode reveal thatthe new show is still keen to traffic in nostalgia for the iconic sitcom, which originally ran on NBC for 11 seasons between 1993 and 2004. This is par for the course with how the revival has operated so far, as it has already included several cameos in season 1, including previous appearances from Gilpin’s Roz and Bebe Neuwirth as Lilith Sternin.

Ultimately, it seems unlikely thatFrasierwould continue should Kelsey Grammer ever choose to leave the series. He plays the lead character, and one who has been iconic for multiple decades. However,the show has put a great deal of effort into developing the new cast of characterssurrounding Dr. Frasier Crane, as this photo gallery proves. Thus, even if the other bids toward nostalgia begin to fade, the show has a strong foundation that could allow it to continue to have a solid run for further seasons to come.
