What Happened in Dragon Ball Daima Episode #19?
Goku and Friends Return to Their Adult Bodies
Episode #19 ofDaimabegan with Glorio standing before the summoned red Porunga, making a wish in Namekian. It soon became apparent what Glorio wished for, as Arinsu prepared for a power boost that wasn’t coming, while Goku and friends returned to being adults. This betrayal seemed to actually emotionally hurt Arinsu, but she remained stoic and calm, simply dismissing Glorio from her service. Glorio remained grateful to her for all she had done for him, and Arinsu even managed to help out by looking up a way to remove the Third Eye from Gomah, offering the heroes a shot at victory.
Meanwhile, adult Vegeta took his turn fighting Gomah, and proved that being a kid really did impact his strength levels substantially, as even in base form he was able to keep up with Gomah decently well. He eventually used Super Saiyan 3 to try to overpower Gomah, but the villain’s endless stamina made it impossible to wear him down in a fight. Bulma had to talk Vegeta out of fighting to give Goku another shot, as Vegeta’s own stamina was beginning to fade. Goku and Piccolo set up a plan to remove the Third Eye by hitting Gomah with a surprise attack, so Goku dramatically showed off his forms to distract Gomah, ending with Super Saiyan 4.

What to Expect in Dragon Ball Daima Episode #20
Daima Finally Comes to An End
Episode #20 ofDragon Ball Daimais entitled “Maximum,” and will see Super Saiyan 4 adult Goku going up against Gomah. Goku and Piccolo do have a plan to strike Gomah in the back of the head three times, which should knock the Third Eye loose and cause Gomah to lose his power. If Piccolo can successfully do that while Goku is fighting, then everything should be resolved, but that may well be easier said than done. The challenge will be ifGoku can keep up Super Saiyan 4 long enoughto put their plan into motion.
Aside from the final battle’s ending, one can also expect that, as the finale, this episode will be full of a lot of goodbyes, as Goku and friends return to Earth, while Glorio, Panzy, Neva, and others will remain in the Demon Realm. Many fans are wondering if the episode may include some kind of memory wipe, to help explain inconsistencies betweenSuperandDaima, but there’s not much to indicate that at this point in time. There are certainly some continuity issues to contend with, but expectingDaimato resolve them in its finale seems unlikely at best.

With episode #20 representing the culmination of the adventure in the Demon Realm so far, it’s been a long time coming, and hopefullyDragon Ball Daimamanages to stick the landing and end on a great note.
