Dragon Ball Daimahas impressed fans with its amazing fights and powerful figures, and it’s shaking up the power rankings to boot. With the introduction of new characters like the Tamagami and improvements to existing characters, the title ofDaima’s strongest is certainly up for grabs.
Ranking the characters ofDaimaby strength is a tricky task. Many of them haven’t had the chance to fight each other yet, making it difficult to firmly establish certain characters as stronger than others. And, sinceDaimais only part-way over, these rankings could end up changing massively depending on how future episodes play out. As such, expect this list to be updated periodically to reflect the current situation betweenDaima’s characters, especially as the time for clashes between them draws nearer.

10Gomah
First Appearance:Dragon Ball Daima, “Conspiracy”
Gomah comes in at the bottom for one simple reason: fans haven’t had the chance to see him fight yet.WhileGomah’s power has been talked up a lot by various characters, Gomah himself hasn’t actually demonstrated any of these abilities. Presumably, as a Majin, Gomah is able to utilize magic, and the scepter he carries suggests that he might be particularly skilled at it. Gomah is said to be very dangerous, and his physical strength doesn’t seem to be anything special, so magic seems like the most likely answer.
Dragon Ball Daima Producer Raises Questions After Dodging Question About the Anime’s Finale
A Dragon Ball Daima executive was unwilling to discuss the series' ending in a recent interview, raising questions about what fans can expect.
What might be more revealing of Gomah’s power level is his reactions to the feats of Goku, Vegeta, and others whom he has seen fighting. Gomah is blown away by abilities like Super Saiyan, and it really doesn’t seem like he’s at all prepared to face enemies like Goku.

9Piccolo
First Appearance:Dragon Ball, “Lost and Found”
Piccolo has similarly been involved in very few fights inDaimaso far, but it’s safe to assume that he’s at least as strong as he was in the Buu Saga, if not a bit tougher from having a year after that point to train further. Like Goku, Piccolo presumably still has access to his various techniques, despite being smaller.Even in his Mini form, Piccolo packs a punch, taking out ruffians with ease alongside Vegeta when they had their plane stolen.
He will, of course, fight when he needs to, but seems to be more than happy to leave the battles up to Goku and Vegeta.
Piccolo has mostly been using this journey as a chance to learn about his people and their origins in the Demon Realm, which Piccolo is far too young to have any memory of. He will, of course, fight when he needs to, but seems to be more than happy to leave the battles up to Goku and Vegeta.
8Glorio
First Appearance:Dragon Ball Daima,“Conspiracy”
Glorio is a new character forDaimawho has allied himself with Goku and friends (although he’s secretly working for Arinsu). Glorio is a tough-looking guy at first glance, but that doesn’t reveal the extent of his power at all. Glorio carries an energy pistol with him, and is an excellent shot with it.His real trick, however, is the magic spell which he’s mastered, which allows him to fire lightning bolts from his fingers, making it trivial to defeat most threats.
Glorio put his power to the test in “Lightning,” wherein he battled against Goku to determine which of them was stronger. While Goku won the fight, Glorio put on an impressive performance with his lightning, earning Goku’s respect. Glorio has busted out his lightning a few more times since then, and it’s proven to be a difficult attack to avoid.
7Majin Kuu
First Appearance:Dragon Ball Daima, “Thieves”
Majin Kuu is an artificial being of magic, created by the use of several magical components, including the essence of Buu and a Saibaman seed. Created by Marba,Majin Kuu is actually in service to Arinsu, and one of her first commands for him is to defeat Tamagami Number One.
Majin Kuu puts up an admirable performance against Tamagami Number One, but ultimately isn’t able to defeat it, ensuring that he’s definitively weaker than the Tamagami are.
Majin Kuu possesses several special attacks, many of which are similar to Buu’s. He can fire energy beams from his mouth, create tornadoes by spinning rapidly in place, and even perform a homing attack in which he fires a massive sphere of energy.Majin Kuu is also quite durable; while he was tired from fighting Tamagami Number One, he was still mostly uninjured by the end of their battle.
6Tamagami Number Three
Tamagami Number Three is one of the three Tamagami, guardians of the Demon Realm Dragon Balls. As designated by his number, Tamagami Number Three is responsible for guarding the Three-Star Dragon Ball. Tamagami Number Three’s main weapon is his enormous hammer, which he wields with astonishing strength. He can telekinetically manipulate the hammer, even after throwing it, allowing him to guide it towards opponents and enhance the force with which it strikes.
Tamagami Number Three is also capable of energy attacks, seen blasting rapid-fire shots at Goku. He also possesses a special “Fury” state which activates when he decides to get serious, allowing him to power up and causing his chest plates to glow with energy. While it wasn’t exactly an easy fight,Goku did defeat Tamagami Number Three, ensuring that the Dragon Ball would be his.
5Tamagami Number One
Tamagami Number One is the guardian of the One-Star Dragon Ball, and a resident of the First Demon World. He’s a serious, no-nonsense guardian, treating all challenges as equal. Tamagami Number One fights primarily with a sword that has a jagged edge on the back, although it doesn’t appear to have any special powers. He was able to use energy attacks, as well as create an energy shield with which he could block incoming attacks.
Tamagami Number One seems to have incredible reflexes, and was easily able to wear down Majin Kuu, forcing the Majin (who was created specifically to defeat him) to forfeit the match or risk being killed. He fared less well against Majin Duu, whose bizarre and erratic fighting style made for an exceptionally difficult opponent. Despite the loss,Tamagami Number Oneseems to have fought harder and longer than Number Three, securing him as slightly stronger.
4Tamagami Number Two
Like its brethren, Tamagami Number Two is a guardian of the Dragon Balls, specifically the Two-Star Dragon Ball. As such, it resides in the Second Demon World, which is dominated by a massive ocean. Appropriately, Tamagami Number Two fights primarily with a trident, giving it Poseidon-like vibes. Swinging the trident allows him to send an arc of energy towards foes, damaging them. Tamagami Number Two can also fire energy blasts rapidly, and can take on an empowered “Fury” state.
Tamagami Number Two is a bit more ruthless than his compatriots, taking advantage of the Kraken’s presence in his battle with Vegeta, as well as trash-talking Vegeta when he first issued his challenge. While Vegeta ultimately emerged victorious, Tamagami Number Two’s merciless attacks on Vegeta have led to him edging out the other Tamagami to come across as the strongest of the bunch.
3Goku
First Appearance:Dragon Ball,“The Secret of the Dragon Balls”
Despite being confined to his Mini form, Goku is as powerful as ever inDragon Ball Daima. Goku has returned to using his Power Pole in combat, changing up his fighting style from what fans were used to inZ. The Power Pole obviously offers Goku some tremendous range on his attacks, and Goku has made a point of only using a weapon if his opponent is as well. Goku still has access to all of his other abilities, like the Kamehamehaand Super Saiyan, so his Mini size hasn’t impacted his utility in battle much.
Goku most notably defeated Tamagami Number Three while at Super Saiyan 2, indicating that he had plenty of strength left to count on if needed.
InDaima, so far, Goku has been able to defeat many opponents, wiping the floor with bandits and the gendarmerie alike, even taking on an entire army by himself. Goku most notably defeated Tamagami Number Three while at Super Saiyan 2, indicating that he had plenty of strength left to count on if needed.
2Vegeta
First Appearance:Dragon Ball Z,“Gohan’s Rage”
Vegeta has only recently joined the party inDragon Ball Daima, but he’s already had some majorly impactful moments. Vegeta is still fighting like hisZself, just operating at a much smaller size than he’s used to. Like Goku and Piccolo, Vegeta is in possession of all his usual abilities. Most notably,Vegeta managed to use Super Saiyan 3in his battle against Tamagami Number Two, proving that he has more power than many fans thought possible.
Vegeta has had a few fights inDaimaso far, mostly defeating bandits and ruffians, but the stand-out fight has undoubtedly been his battle with the Tamagami.Vegeta had to contend with the massive Kraken in addition to fighting the Tamagami, and still came out on top. At least for the moment, it would seem that Vegeta has finally succeeded in surpassing Goku.
1Majin Duu
First Appearance:Dragon Ball Daima, “Legend”
Majin Duu is another magically created being, like his brother Majin Kuu.Majin Duu bears more of a resemblance to Buu, suggesting that perhaps more of his essence was used in the creation of Duu. Majin Duu inherited Buu’s love of chocolate and simple-minded nature, stopping in the middle of a fight to demand chocolate. Duu is good at following orders, taking Arinsu’s order to challenge Tamagami Number One and eventually defeating it in battle without so much as a scratch.
Majin Duu possesses a variety of abilities, many of which are similar to those of Buu, such as the ability to fire energy from his mouth and utilize Ki blasts. Majin Duu is also a master at evading attacks, stretching and contorting his body in bizarre ways that make his movements difficult to predict. The ease with which Majin Duu defeated Tamagami Number One suggests that he’s far more powerful than the Tamagami, and may be even stronger than Goku or Vegeta, although that remains to be seen. For these reasons, Majin Duu is the strongest character inDragon Ball Daima–for now.
