As the spring anime season looms ever closer, a teaser trailer and a release date forThe Beginning After the End, one of the most anticipated manhwa-based anime of the coming months, have been revealed. There have beensome concerns about the adaptation of the hit manhwa seriesafter the first look was revealed recently, but this trailer seems a bit better than the previous lackluster video.
The official X account ofThe Beginning After the Endanime has just confirmed thatthe anime will start broadcasting on June 13, 2025. The anime is scheduled for 2 cours, which will be 24 episodes total. Furthermore, new cast members of some characters have been revealed, as well as a sneak peek into the opening theme and who will be performing it. With the premiere of the series less than a month away and most of the information already revealed, fans of the popular manhwa should be excited as the anime promises to blow them and their expectations away.

The opening theme song, titled “KINGSBLOOD,” will be performed by KALA, a first-time anime theme performer. Keitaro Motonaga, the director of the Date A Live anime, will be taking the helm as the director under Studio A-Cat. Takamitsu Kono will be in charge of the series composition, Keiji Inai will handle the music and Masami Sueoka will be the lead character designer. Tying it all together isTurtleMe, the creator of the manhwa, who will be heavily involved with the anime as the supervisor and executive producer.
Inspired by the hit novel Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, The Beginning After The End follows King Grey, who died mysteriously and has been reincarnated as Arthur Leywin, son of two adventurers. Now living in the fantastical and magical world of Dicathen, Arthur tries to live a sincere and good life, and tries to correct all the mistakes he made in his past life. With the knowledge and wit of a king and an affinity for magic, the young boy navigates this strange new world in hopes of making a better person of himself and enjoying his new life with his new family.
