A new boss combat event forGenshin Impact5.5 has leaked, showcasing not only an exciting activity to participate in but a challenge when it comes to team comp strategies to fully complete it.The action RPG by HoYoverse is currently going through the second half of Version 5.4, a smaller patch that is mainly sustained by limited-time events and minor activities rather than a lot of permanent content. In contrast, the Version 5.5 beta tests have revealed a large income of new content in the upcoming patch. This includes a rumorednew Natlan map area inGenshin Impact5.5.

This area will allegedly incorporate the Great Volcano of Tollan and the Collective of Plenty tribe, from which Iansan and Varesa, the two new playable characters in the update, hail. The leaks have also revealed their respective gameplay kits and the materials needed to max out their levels and Talents. While these new permanent additions are taking over the majority of the spotlight, the leaks have also shown details about cyclical content, like the changes to theSpiral Abyss lineup inGenshin Impact5.5. Now, an exciting new limited-time combat-centered event has been leaked for the upcoming patch.

New Boss Combat Event Has Leaked For Genshin Impact 5.5

Each Stage Has Two Parts

As seen in the information provided by the leakers known as Honey Impact and Seele Leaks,Version 5.5 will feature a new boss-focused combat event called Unlimited Fighting Championship. The leak was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” onReddit. According to the leaks, this boss combat event will feature several stages, and each of them is divided into two rounds of combat. Genshin Impact 5.5 Leaks: Skirk’s Early Kit Seems Like A Hoax (But It’s Exciting)

The first few details about Skirk’s gameplay kit in Genshin Impact have leaked and, as unreliable as the leaks are, they seem exciting.

The leakers explain that, during the second half of each of the stages in the rumored activity, players will have a limited time to use the buffs obtained by the Support Level’s gauge in the first half. These buffs will help them deplete the boss’ HP bar and, in turn, obtain rewards based on how much HP these bosses lost during combat. As seen in the leak, the activity isn’t moved necessarily by seeing each of these bosses defeated, but instead by how much HP they lose via damage and the buffs used by players inGenshin Impact5.5.

Genshin Impact 5.5’s Leaked Boss Combat Event Will Require Heavy Team Comp Strategies

Trial Characters Would Benefit Players

The way that this event is structured with specific buffs applied after certain conditions are met should make team comp strategies the central aspect of the activity. The first fight, for example, should reward players who use Pyro, Hydro, Electro, and Cryo DMG via their active characters and, as such, using a Geo or Anemo DPS, for example, should make it much tougher to obtain the stage’s rewards. Of course, the first stage seems like the least restrictive one.The Jadeplume Terrorshroom fight benefits Plunging Attacks inGenshin Impact, something that not all characters are capable of executing.

Every Genshin Impact 5.5 Character Confirmed & Leaked (Phase 1 & Phase 2 Banners)

The character banner structure for Genshin Impact 5.5 has leaked, showcasing not only a focus on Plunging Attacks but an anticipated rerun.

Hopefully, the activity will provide players with some trial characters for each stage, as this could facilitate access to the rewards given by the activity’s stages. It shouldn’t necessarily make the activity easier, as this should still depend on how players build their teams and perform on the field, but it gives players without access to certain requirements a chance to at least participate and obtain the rewards that may come with the leaked boss combat event inGenshin Impact5.5.
