Precious Hand is back, but it has a different weakness in theEpisode Aigis: The Answercompared to thePersona 3 Reloadbase game. Another variation of the Shadow called Golden Hand has been appearing inPersonagames over the years, and this is another tricky one to beat, but it’s worth the effort with the rewards you get for defeating it.
The reason it’s so important to know the Precious Hand’s weaknesses is that it quickly runs away from an encounter if it’s not beaten within two turns. Since the Shadow is a rare spawn, it can take a long while to find another one without pure luck. Luckily, there are plenty of ways you can exploit the Precious Hand’s weak point.

Fire It Up
The weakness of Precious Hand in thePersona 3 Reload Episode Aigis: The AnswerDLCis Fire damage. If you still have Orpheus as Aigis' default Persona, she’ll already have suitable attacks like Agi or Agilao to take it down. On the other hand, at this point in the DLC’s story where you can explore Cocytus, you can finally add Junpei to your party. Junpei’s Persona, Trismegistus, will have the Fire attack, Maragi, in its moveset right away. It may not be thestrongest Persona inP3R, but it’s a solid choice here.
Persona 3 The Answer Makes Its DLC Dungeon A Better Experience
Persona 3 Reload’s upcoming expansion, Episode Aigis -The Answer-, brings the base game’s updates to the DLC from the original game.
If you come across a Precious Hand unexpectedly and don’t have the right team ready, you can also use Fire-damage items like the Maragi Gem, which deals 50 Fire damage to all foes. These items can be found as random drops by destroying the glowing mineral deposits littered across the dungeons.
Other Personas with Fire-type attacks Aigis can use include Hua Po with Maragi and Agilao. A stronger alternative is those like Baphomet with Maragi as well.
Like findingevery secret URL inPersona 3 Reload, it’s very easy to forget which elemental-damage items you have due to gathering loads so quickly, so check the “Item” section in battle to see if one is in your inventory.
Rewards For Beating Precious Hand
A Ton Of EXP & Worldly Coin
For beating the Precious Hand inPersona 3 Reload’s Episode Aigis: The AnswerDLC, you’ll be rewarded witha large amount of EXPto be spread among the active members of your partyand a Worldy Coin. The latter is a valuable item that can be sold to Kurosawa at Paulownia Mall for 3000 Yen. This extra in-game value may make you wonderif theP3Rexpansion pass is worth it. The amount of EXP can fluctuate depending on your level compared to the rare Shadows, though.
Nevertheless, the EXP gained from defeating Precious Hand will always be worth it compared to other enemies. For example, I earned 6664 EXP along with the Worldly Coin for beating my first Precious Hand - which is massive compared to the 1478 EXP and 2x Amethyst I got for beating two common Venus Eagles on the same floor. Just be sure to use Fire damage to exploit the weakness of the Precious Hand, and yourPersona 3 Reloadsave file for theEpisode Aigis: The AnswerDLC will have a ton of extra EXP for the SEES team.
