Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteousincludes avariety of romance options, but some of your choices might not seem obvious right away. This is particularly the case for characters who join your party later in the game, such as Queen Galfrey and Arueshalae, both of whom are available for romancing as a male or female commander. Arueshalae might be one of the hardest romance options, sinceyou can basically fail the romance if you pick the wrong option, so you want to be careful on her path.

While Arueshalae can become evil, she’s no longer romanceable when evil, and you also want to avoid the Demon, Swarm, and Lich paths in order to romance her. Additionally, starting with the Azata path lets you recruit her early, and you don’t need to commit to that path to keep her with your group. Therefore, you want to start off this romance with the Azata path (although it’s not required).

Start The Azata Path For Best Results

For Act 1, you spend your time completing the quest, “Starward Gaze,” and gathering disciples to sing at the temple, making sure you pick the option that unlocks the Azata path. This lets you recruit Arueshalae near the end of Act 2 after you find a harp and sextant to place in the Shrine of Desna. How To Romance Arueshalae Beyond Act 2

Which Options End The Romance

In an interesting way, Arueshalae is a bit different fromother romance options, because you focus on avoiding certain options instead of taking them. Once you hit Act 3, go through her dialogue options, and then pick the apology when it comes up. Picking the option that says you’re not kiddinglocks you out of her romance. You also need to kill the hag, followed by the option to forgive Arueshalae. Then, when she talks to you after killing Marhevok, don’t pick the option to wink at her.

The key during her conversations is to not make it about sex and instead choose the options that are about her as a person, to show her that love isn’t only physical.
