Netflix’s Regency romance series has so far adapted three of Quinn’s novels, each of which focuses on a different member of the eponymous family. After covering Colin’s (Luke Newton) friends-to-lovers dynamic with Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan),Bridgertonseason 4will turn its attention to Benedict (Luke Thompson) and adapt the third novel in the series,An Offer From a Gentleman. In the book, he falls for a woman named Sophie Beckett (Baek in the show, played by Yerin Ha) who, unbeknownst to him, is a maid.
While speaking toThe Charlotte Observerabout her upcoming appearance at twoBridgerton-themed events in Charlotte, North Carolina, Quinn gave a brief review of season 4, as it stands so far. First, she admitted that she couldn’t say anything about the season, adding, “You know, I would get in so much trouble if I said anything.” Quinn then confirmed she’s read some of the scripts, and she feels fans will be thrilled. Quinn said:
The scripts that I’ve read, I love. I’m really excited about the whole thing. I think I can say people who really like the book — which is ‘An Offer from a Gentleman’ which is the third book in the series —I think they’re gonna love the show.

As someone who adored the first twoseasons ofBridgertonand was mostly charmed by the third, I have very high hopes for season 4.Benedict’s romance has a lot of potential, as does the character of Sophie. With little known about the season so far, as filming is underway right now, Quinn’s positive words can increase excitement in what’s to come and reassure everyone that the wait will be worth it.Bridgertonlikely won’t return until 2026, but it seems likely that Quinn will have more updates to share that can tide us over in the meantime.
