The Weeknd’s Upcoming Thriller Hurry Up Tomorrow Casts Jenna Ortega & Barry Keoghan

Tesfaye’s upcoming thrillerHurry Up Tomorrowshares the same name with his upcoming album, which releases Jan. 24, and will serve as the bookend to the popstar’s artistic trilogy, which started with “After Hours” and “Dawn FM.” The artist will perform a one-off show at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl on Jan. 25 to celebrate the release of the album, and the film has been timed to follow the album’s release, being inspired by and featuring new music by Tesfaye.

Deadlinereports thatHurry Up Tomorrowhas added Ortega and Keoghan to its cast, starting off casting announcements with two of the industry’s most sought-after talent. Also announced was the film’s official release date, May 16, making it a strong early summer contender and a direct competitor toFinal Destination: Bloodlines, which also comes out that weekend. The movie will be directed byIt Comes at Night’s Trey Edward Shults.
