The SNK Championship Series 2024 Finals event is the conclusion of a KOF XV competitive series. Qualification spots are rewards for the top 2 players.
Reaching final tournaments for any official fighting games esports series is quite an achievement. But for The King of Fighters XV, it’s especially difficult! The SNK World Championship 2025 has qualifiers at some of the biggest events, and only winners earn the qualification spot.
The SNK Championship Series 2024 Finals is pretty generous in this regard, as it distributes two spots, for the top 2 competitors. However, to advance to this event, players had to battle through eight weekly qualifiers — only the top 16 may enter the Finals arena.

Day 1: top 16 to top 8
On this day, all players were divided into eight brackets: the winners advanced to the upper side, and the losers fell to the elimination brackets. After a few rounds, only eight competitors remained in the tournament.

Masanobu “M'” Murakami from Japan defeated mok in the semi-final and then fell to the losers brackets after the final against Yunwu. After defeating mok once again, in the lower final this time, M' advanced to the grand final and won two matches in a row.
M' and Yunwu have qualified for the SNK World Championship 2025.

The series of qualifiers for the SNK World Championship 2025 started back in April, withKOF XV Evo Japan 2024. After that, there were quite a few other tournaments, with one qualification spot for the winner.
In addition to such big international gatherings asCombo Breaker 2024, FV Major 2024, andUltimate Fighting Arena 2024, SNK World Championship 2025 qualifiers took place at smaller regional events.
Sure there always are even more competitors eager to battle for the biggest title within The King of Fighters XV. Therefore, the remaining tournaments are still packed with top players.
In fact, SNK Championship Series 2024 Finals is one of just four remaining events. And it offers two spots! The others include the KOF XV tournament atCEOtaku 2024, which happens on the same weekend.
