Over at the Schemmenti household,Melissa hosted Christmas Eve dinner with her family,Jacob and his brother, and Barbara and her husband. As one would expect, the night was a bit of a mess (for example, Melissa’s uncle died and then came back to life) despite Melissa’s attempts to make it as perfect as possible. However, Melissa’s mother complimenting her cooking was a highlight for Walter’s character, and the actress playing the older woman just tied the entire storyline up in a nice bow.
