Whenever a discussion emerges about theElder Scrollsgames, inevitably someone will ask which is the best one of the series. Spanning more than twenty-five years, fans have been debatingwhich is the bestElder Scrollsgame ever. A lot of the time,Morrowindcomes out on top, and it’s hardly surprising why. With its immersive lore and tons of mods for the PC version, the third installment in the franchise is till being talked about to this day.

ManyMorrowindfans will already be familiar with one of the game’s most popular mods,Morrowind Rebirth. Recently, the creator has announced that the add-on will be celebrating a ten year anniversary which also brings with it a massive update.

According to the listing on ModDB,a new update is now available forRebirthwhich, as well as fixing some bugs, will also feature a ton of new content. Among many other things, the mod will have some new weapons and armor, as well as some “graphical improvements.” There are some tweaks to some of the areas as well, such as a new home in Dagon Fel, a new shack in Hla Oad, a new city gate in Vivec, new market stalls in Ebonheart, and a load of minor alterations here and there.

Maybe it doesn’t add aMcDonald’s to Tamrielthe way one other mod did, butMorrowind Rebirthis arguably one of the most popular add-ons for the game. It’s a massive overhaul of this much-beloved RPG which keeps this classic alive, despite it being nearly twenty years old at this point.
