Side Quest’s good reviewsare also a good sign forMythic Questseason 5. While a renewal is still pending, the positive reception of its two most recent installments bodes well for the Apple TV+ show’s continuation. The fourth season ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger, leaving the future of leads Ian and Poppy’s relationship in a delicate state. The spinoff series, especially if widely watched by viewers, could be an easy ticket for the main show to get renewed, and for other one-off episodes like those inSide Questto be created in the meantime.

Our Take On Side Quest

I Was Impressed With The Series Overall

I personally had the pleasure of writing theSide QuestreviewforScreenRant, giving it 7 out of 10 stars. While there were some fluctuations in quality throughout its four episodes, I had a lot of fun with the spinoff overall. Ever since season 1’s incredible “A Dark Quiet Death,” one-off episodes have always been at the core of what makesMythic Questunique and what best connects the show to the network of passionate creatives working in the gaming industry. Exploring multiple facets of game creation,Side Questcaptures this spirit well.
