With the drop ofOnce Human’sWay of Winterscenario, players will have a set of seven new deviants to get their hands on. Among the new arrivals are three Combat Deviants and three Territory Deviants, with just one new Crafting Deviant to catch as you take on quests and explore the wilderness. Each is worth capturing, offering unique abilities and effects to use to your advantage at the height of the PvE scenario.
Way of Winterintroduces much more than new deviants, with never-before-seen areas to visit and an all-new temperature mechanic to brave, taking the survival title to a new extreme. Staying alive remains at the top of your to-do list, but keeping warm will now come in at a close second as the two tasks go hand-in-hand. The deviants you catch can offer some help in the matter, bringing useful skills to combat, crafting, and your territory.

Once Human’s Way of Winterscenario introduces seven new deviants. Most can be obtained by completing quests set forth byLowe, while others will require you to clearSecurement Silos. Apart from completing specific quests to access all seven newdeviations inOnce Human,some will also require you to complete prerequisite questsand other activities beforehand. TheDeviation: Snowspritequest can only be initiated following theDeviation Expert in the Northside quest, for example.

Moreover,some deviants are trickier to catch than others, so you may want to work beyond level requirements just to be safe going into dungeons and moving forward with tougher questlines.

Ice Pot is aCrafting Deviant. It creates Sticky Ice Crystals.
Invincible Sun
Invincible Sun is aCombat Deviant. Exploding every three seconds can continuously inflict Burn Damage on enemies.
Hydronaut Fish
Hydronaut Fish is aTerritory Deviant. It can collect seawater or run water purification facilities to reliably get fish.
Gazocchio
Gazocchio is aTerritory Deviantspecializing in protecting your base by attacking suspicious targets. It also produces the Gazocchio tool, which effectively makes Shadow enemies susceptible to damage.
Tar Pudding
Tar Pudding is aTerritory Variant. It can extract crude oil and run refining facilities.
Snapshot
Snapshot is aCombat Deviant. It constantly photographs enemies and increases the Weapon damage taken by enemies.
Snowsprite
Snowsprite is aCombat Deviant. It creates fragile ice crystals you can shoot to deal with AoE damage.
These deviants are welcomed alongside other newOnce Humanfeatures, like puzzles, which can even be used to navigate solutions moving forward. Not only does this freshen things up a bit on the whole, but it also gives players plenty of new content to explore with greater means as they play through theWay of WinterPvE scenario.
