Darth Vader’spatience with his Inquisitors has reached its end in a newStar Warspreview, and he’s nearly ready to kill them all for their recurring failures. In the new preview forStar Wars: Inquisitors #4by Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas, Darth Vader has gathered all theInquisitors who tried and failed to bring down Tensu Run, a priority Jedi survivor during the Dark Time who stands to become a major threat to the Empire. To that end,it looks as though Darth Vader is granting his hunter one last chance to bring him down.Preview pages for the upcoming issue can be viewed below:
Although the Grand Inquisitor, Fifth Brother, and the Seventh and Ninth Sisters have been given one more chance to succeed where they previously failed, the stakes are now much higher. After all, they now know that failing a second time will guarantee not only their master’s wrath, but also the promise of their deaths should they fail to kill or capture Run in the issue to come.

Tensu Run Was One Of Vader’s Most Wanted Jedi Survivors
He Was Capable Of Inspiring Great Hope and Resistance
Having fearlessly gathered a group of Jedi survivors together during the Dark Times,it’s not lost on Darth Vader just how dangerous Tensu Run could become against the Empire. His bold leadership and ability to inspire and give others hope is a key threat to everything the Empire has built. To that end, this Jedi Knight in particular was one of Vader’s most wantedduring thisStar Warsera.
The Star Wars Timeline Explained, Completely & Succinctly
The Star Wars timeline is only going to get more expansive as the franchise continues, making it more necessary than ever to explore every era.
Likewise, the secondary concern is that Tensu Run has taken it upon himself to go after the Inquisitors in this new series. As seen in previous issues, Run has decided to hunt the hunters, resulting in each of the Inquisitors' subsequent defeats (even when two were sent to defeat him).To that end, the teases from the cover art with four Inquisitors and Vader himself simultaneously facing Tensu down are very exciting.

The Inquisitors Have No More Chances With Vader
Tensu Run Will Die…Or They Will
Because each of these featured Inquisitors have known futures and fates elsewhere in theStar Warscanon that don’t include executions from Vader, things certainly aren’t looking good for Tensu Run in this upcoming issue. After all, Darth Vader isn’t one to make idle threats.Instead, the odds are quite high that Tensu Run will meet his demise sooner rather than later. Either that, or he’ll be captured and potentially corrupted to the dark side, becoming one of Darth Vader’s Inquisitors himselfby the end of this newStar Warsseries.
Star Wars: Inquisitors #4releases October, 2nd from Marvel Comics.
Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader
Conceived by the will of the Force itself, Anakin Skywalker was the prophesied Chosen One, destined to bring the Force into balance. Anakin struggled to balance competing attachments to the Jedi Order and his wife Padmé Amidala, and ultimately fell to the dark side, becoming Darth Vader. For years he served as Palpatine’s right hand man, but he was ultimately redeemed by the faith of his son, Luke Skywalker. Now a Force Ghost, Anakin continues to act as an agent of balance.
