Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Rick and Morty: Ricklemania #1!In theRick and Mortyuniverse, there is no one more powerful than Rick or Morty (depending on the Rick or Morty). For instance,‘Evil Morty’ is deadlier than ‘Rick Prime’, who rivals Rick C-137 forthe title of the Rickest Rick. Basically, the only competition Rick and Morty have when it comes to the most powerful living person in the multiverse are other versions of themselves, which only proves how god-tier they are. That being said, they do have one weakness that nobody saw coming.
InRick and Morty: Ricklemania#1 by Marc Ellerby, Rick, Morty, and the entire Smith family become absolutely obsessed with professional wrestling after watching a version of it onInterdimensional Cable (an iconicRick and Mortystaple). The version of it they are watching isn’t WWE or RAW, but rather the Interdimensional Wrestling Federation (or IWF) - and that’s just the start of their weird wrestling adventure.

Rick and Morty Have One Weakness: Wrestling (Yes, Really)
Even Rick’s Most High-Tech Gadgets are Useless Against ‘Sick Wrestling Moves’
The implications of this revelation are immensely significant, and utterly redefine everything fans thought they knew about the power structure inRick and Morty. As previously mentioned, it was believed that Rick and Morty were basically the strongest lifeforms in the multiverse, and that’s all because of their high-tech gadgets. However, that’s no longer the case, because all it takes to defeat even their most advanced piece of technology is ‘sick wrestling moves’.
In other words, all one has to do is learn how to wrestle at the level of the professional wrestlers of IWF, and they will become the most powerful beings inthe Rick and Morty multiverse, since they’ll suddenly become immune to Rick and Morty’s weapons/technology. Of course, that’s assuming Rick and Morty don’t learn these wrestling moves themselves.

Rick and Morty Just Learned How to Be Even More Powerful: Learn to Wrestle
Rick and Morty’s Wrestling Adventure Will Make Them Infinitely More Powerful
While learning that wrestling is Rick and Morty’s kryptonite might seem like a bad thing on the surface, it could actually work to their advantage. If Rick and Morty learn these wrestling moves - as it seems they’re doing in this very comic series - then they’ll suddenly become the most powerful versions of themselves in the multiverse, since none of the gadgets created by other Rick and Morty variants will be able to touch them. It’s goofy, but wrestling may be the key to the main continuity’s Rick and Morty cementing their spots as the greatest Rick and Morty.
Rick and Morty Is Ready to Revisit a Season 3 Villain and Their Dark Backstory
Rick and Morty just explored the backstory of a villain from season 3, revealing shocking ties to Rick Sanchez’s past as well as a truly dark origin.
Obviously, this whole thing is utterly absurd, but that doesn’t take away from the facts of the matter, which are that wrestling moves render Rick and Morty’s technology useless. Indeed,Rick and Mortyis a ridiculous series, so having a weakness such as this should come as no surprise to anyone, even if nobody saw it coming.
