How To Get Every Rarity

There Are Eight Rarities To Unlock

There areeight Raritiesto discover inSlitterhead, which happens to be a game made bySilent Hillalumni. Some are exclusive to specific days and locations, while others are just unlocked by simply playing through the story. Below, you can find how and where to locate the Rarities in thishorror video game.

Julee Is Unlocked During The Prologue

Julee is the first Rarity, unlocked simply byplaying through the prologue. Julee is unique from the other ordinary and nameless characters you may possess. While nameless characters give you access to weaponized blood, Julee haspowerful blood clawsthat you can use in battle. She also comes with better stats and some unique abilities. It is here that Julee nicknames Hyoki the “Night Owl.”

Slitterhead’s Combat Will Be Action-Focused, But There Will Be Horror

Keiichiro Toyama’s Slitterhead will borrow Silent Hill’s grotesque body horror, but the project will reportedly put a heavier focus on action.

Julee is a solid first Rarity with some great abilities. One of her abilities isRevive All, which allows you to heal all nearby NPCs. She’ll also heal herself. This ability can come in handy, especially during tough battles. That and her blood claws make Julee a great combative and supportive Rarity.

Alex And Anita Are Unlocked During Day 3 And 1

As Hyoki and Julee investigate theSlitterheadepidemic, they witness two other Rarities die: Anita and Alex. Fortunately, all hope is not lost for these two Rarities, as a new power is unlocked. Hyoki and Julee can nowtime travel.

Hyoki and Juleetravel back in time to save Anita and Alex. To save them, you’ll have to complete two different missions. The first mission is a Day 1 mission called “Black Payback,” where you’ll save Alex. Then you’ll go onto the Day 3 mission, “Missing Girl RE (2nd Loop),”in which you’ll save Anita.

Since you have witnessed these two characters dying already, you should know where to find them. This means you can avoid going through all the shenanigans of the earlier mission where you first met them. Saving them will unlock them as your new Rarities.

Unlocking Alex gives you the Blood Well, Time Bomb, and Bloody Blast abilities. Blood Well creates a blood-filled gravity field, Time Bomb places an explosive device on an enemy, and Bloody Blast allows Alex to use a shotgun and unleash a shower of blood bullets from it. Anita grants you the abilities of Devil’s Scent and Mind Hack. Devil’s Scent allows you to summon a crowd of civilians, while Mind Hack controls them and forces them to fight on your behalf.

Following the clue will lead you to the Fish and Eggs Restaurant, where you’ll find the dog near an alleyway that has been blocked off.

Use Hyoki’s ability topossess the dog, and then the dog’s ability to follow the scent. The dog’s nose will lead you to an injured person – Edo, your next Rarity. Possess him to unlock Edo. What appears to be a sweet old lady is actually a formidable ally who can tear apart Slitterheads in just a few moments. Her weapon of choice is her blood cane.

Betty’s encounters are spread across three days. On Day 1, you’ll need to continue through the “Lurking Parasite RE (2nd Loop)” and “Oppressive Force RE (2nd Loop)” missions, encountering the Mysterious Old Lady during each mission. On Day 2, you’ll encounter her again during the “Hidden Cave RE (2nd Loop)” and “Sleepless Zone RE (2nd Loop)” missions. Then, on Day 3, continue through the “Insidious Sucker RE (2nd Loop)” and “Missing Girl RE (2nd Loop)” missions, encountering the Mysterious Old Lady along the way. Once you encounter her during each mission, you’ll unlock your final Rarity, Betty.

As your final Rarity, Betty has some impressive skills. First, she can use Indomitable to boost her strength and defenses and become temporarily invulnerable. Second is her Diabolic skill, which causes severe damage to any Slitterheads who approach her. Her last ability is Lunatic, where Betty mumbles incantations that cause nearby Slitterheads to form murderous thoughts against each other.

With all eight Rarities unlocked in yourSlitterheadjourney, you can continue fighting as Hyoki and the Rarities against the Slitterhead epidemic. Each Rarity contributes new abilities, missions, and stories. Now that you’ve unlocked all the Rarities, your fight should be much easier, but it will still pose many challenges as you attempt to stop the Slitterheads from taking over.
