She was married to William Nist, with whom she had two children, for 42 years until he passed away in 2014. Though she hadn’t dated much since her late husband’s passing, she decided to be a contestant on the first reality show to center on the love lives of senior citizens.
Like Theresa, 72-year-old Gerry was also a widower. The retired restaurateur was married to Toni Turner, with whom he had two daughters, for 43 years until she died in 2018.
