Introducing JUSTICE LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP CARDS–DC’s Ultimate Hero Upgrade
DC’s Justice League Membership Cards Debut inDC ALL IN SPECIAL#1
In the narrative, Superman explains that the cards started as a symbol of unity—a concept that will likely play a major role for DC heroes moving forward, especially after their lack of coordination left them vulnerable during theAbsolute Powercrisis event. Hence, ina show of unity, every core Justice League member contributed to their creation.Superman goes on to detail the impressive forging process, beginning with the advanced Earthly technologies from WayneTech, Steelworks, Queen Industries, and TerrificTech that were used to construct the hardware. But the cards’ power extends far beyond human tech, incorporating magic and alien technology.
The alien tech comes from Kryptonian and Thanagarian sources, powered by the Speed Force, and brought together through John Stewart’s architectural expertise and Green Lantern willpower. Wonder Woman then blessed the cards, imbuing them with magic and divine forces from realms beyond Earth.Given the blend of advanced technology and magic, it’s clear that these cards will grant significant upgrades to their wielders. After all, crafting something so advanced without the capability to enhance or support the hero who holds it wouldn’t make sense. Thus, one question arises: which heroes will receive this monumental upgrade? The answer is simple—everyone.

The narration also reveals that Mister Terrific developed a method to teleport the cards to their intended recipients, providing a simple yet believable explanation for how the Justice League could invite everyone. However, among all the heroes,Superman personally delivers one card—to none other than Booster Gold. This special delivery hints at Booster’s significant role in the upcoming narrative, as confirmed by Scott Snyder and Wes Craig in a behind-the-scenes interview. However, fans will have to read the full issue todiscover why Booster Gold is so importantto receive a hand-delivered invitation from the Man of Steel himself.
