Sofia Falcone’s Incredible Origin In The Penguin Was Inspired By This Tragic Real Life Figure

New details from New York Comic Con have revealed that Sofia Falcone’s downfall was inspired by the sister of a celebrated American president.

On Sofia’s side, she has a lot more riding on successfully taking Penguin down. Episode 4 chronicled how she became the Hangman, a notorious serial killer. Only, Sofia was never a murderer. Rather, she discovered her father’s crimes and was sent to Arkham Asylum as a cover-up. Sofia, freed after a decade incarcerated, exacted her revenge on the family who wronged her, sparing only her young cousin and a useful underboss. With Cristin Milioti’s dynamic performance, she might just be the fan-favorite to win.
