The perfect celebrity cameo is baked into theTwisted Metalvideo game franchise, but his appearance in season 2 probably won’t happen. The eponymous show, featuring Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz, has become one ofPeacock’s best originals, drawing in a dedicated fanbase. The show uses fantastic elements from the franchise while keeping the narrative fresh. One of the most iconic parts of theTwisted Metalvideo games, which the TV show could incorporate, is Rob Zombie as a driver. InTwisted Metal 4, he’s an undead rocker who spends all his time making music and mayhem.

Zombie joins the tournament, hoping that he can become a celebrity and force everyone to hear his music if he wins. He drives a vehicle called Mr. Zombie that can fire a spinning skull that sucks in his competitors, like a vortex. It then electrifies them and explodes. Although he only appears in one video game, I hoped the celebrity would join the Peacock TV show. However,Twisted Metalseason 1 didn’t warrant his inclusion since they didn’t show the tournament. Despite introducing the battle royale run by Calypso,Twisted Metalseason 2most likely won’t include the rocker.

The details of Rob Zombie’s car appear on the Twisted 4 menu next to the character.

Rob Zombie’s Tour Schedule Means A Twisted Metal Season 2 Cameo Probably Won’t Happen

Rob Zombie Has A Pretty Full Schedule Between Touring And Working On Upcoming Projects

Twisted Metalseason 2’s trailer has confirmed new video game characters, but Rob Zombie isn’t among them. On its own, this doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t appear. Keeping his appearance a secret would add excitement when the second season finally releases. However, his absence in the trailer, in conjunction with the filming time frame, lowers the chances of him appearing in any meaningful way.Twisted Metalseason 2 was filmed from July to the beginning of November 2024. Rob Zombie was on the Freaks on Parade tour with Alice Cooper during the middle two months.

This decreases the amount of time that he could’ve been on set, meaning his possible role would be minimized to a few scenes. Additionally, he’s a producer on the biographical dramaRaised Eyebrows, which is in pre-production. Plus, he’s working on a behind-the-scenes book, showing the creative process and making of his cult-classic black comedy filmHouse of 1000 Corpses(viaCollider). He seems too busy to make an appearance inTwisted Metalseason 2, even if he wanted to.

Twisted Metal Season 2 Should Still Use Rob Zombie Music If The Celebrity Doesn’t Appear

Rob Zombie’s Music Appeared In Twisted Metal 3 And Twisted Metal 4

Even ifTwisted Metalseason 2 doesn’t include the iconic character based on the celebrity, the Peacock series needs to include his music. Rob Zombie’s connection to the franchise started inTwisted Metal 3. The previous games included scores that were exclusive to the game, but the third addition to the franchise integrated music from popular artists like Rob Zombie, focusing on nu-metal. Three of the rocker’s songs appeared on the game’s soundtrack.

The introduction of Rob Zombie’s music in season 2 could match John Doe’s darker mentality going into the tournament, as well as the season’s increased grittiness and violence.

Zombie’s grungy sound and dark themes fit perfectly into the post-apocalyptic setting of theTwisted Metalgames, strengthening the ambiance. It became a defining characteristic of the third game, to the point that the game makers included the musician as a playable character inTwisted Metal 4. The fourth game in the vehicular combat series also adds three more songs.

Twisted Metal 4

I think Season 1 of Peacock’sTwisted Metalmade a mistake by leaving out Rob Zombie’s music. However, it could be written off as not fitting the tone. After all, John Doe is a little more upbeat and optimistic when the story starts. By theend ofTwisted Metalseason 1, his attitude is less plucky, though. The introduction of Rob Zombie’s music in season 2 could match John Doe’s darker mentality going into the tournament, as well as the season’s increased grittiness and violence. That being said, “Dragula” would be perfect to play during a Rob Zombie cameo.

I Need Rob Zombie To Appear In Twisted Metal Season 3 If He Isn’t In Season 2

Rob Zombie Fits Perfectly In The Supernatural World Teased In The Season 2 Trailer

As a fan of theTwisted Metalgames and Rob Zombie’s music, I will be sorely disappointed if he doesn’t appear in season 2 of the Peacock show. However, one aspect of the show that’s teased in theTwisted Metalseason 2 trailer makes his appearance almost necessary in the future. Season 1 leaned into the post-apocalyptic hellscape but lacked the supernatural component that makes the Rob Zombie character possible.

However, the newest trailer for the upcoming season shows a character, most likely Mr. Grimm, sucking the soul out of another person. If Peacock’sTwisted Metalis going the supernatural route, they need to throw themselves entirely into that. This means the undead Rob Zombie needs to show up, whether that be in season 2 or season 3. Other non-human characters that should appear alongside Rob Zombie include Mr. Ash, Scott Campbell, and Minion.
