This one was okay, although there was a tricky one. DOCK is the potential hazard here, as it can be related to time. However, I saw BOARDWALK, DOCK, and WHARF and knew they were all very close to being the same thing. Then it was a matter of adding something else in, and I had to figure out what was going on. LIGHTHOUSE was the only one that felt like it should be here at all.The four words together create a nice, idealized image in my head, even if the truth isn’t often there.

This one was the easiest one for me today, and it didn’t have the problems that the others did. DING was the only one that might go elsewhere, but it didn’t feel right.I did initially have TICK here instead of SCRATCH as well, because it sounded better, so that is a potential hazard here. Still, even with a mistake, I feel like this is the easiest category here, and I felt more confident in my answers. Then it was on to the rest of them that were not as straightforward in my opinion.

TOCK
This one was the main reason for the stumbling, as a number of words in other categories all have something to do with time or a clock. DOCK, COCK, and even potentially DING could all also go here. It was also unclearif any of the categories did have to do with time or a clock at all. When DOCK was out of the running, I thought the entire category was a trick and that there was something else going on. When I came back to this category, I managed to get it, but I did make a different mistake first.

With MOCK and PONY, I thought that there might be a category that was about making fun of someone else. CHIME was in that category as well,but I couldn’t find a fourth word that made a lot of sense. I tried CUCKOO, but it was wrong. So I then tried the time words that were left together and those worked. It’s weird, I feel like the “tail” theme has popped up a couple of times recently but in a slightly different way every time.
