If you are looking to succeed at the venture of beating theConnectionspuzzle today, you might need a few hints and tricks to do so. Today was not my day specifically, with two big categories with subjects I would not recognize off the bat. This can make itquite difficult to finish a puzzlewhen that is the case, and I would have liked a nudge in the right direction myself. With that in mind, I can help you do what I could not and finish the puzzle.
If you want a puzzle that will take a longer time to solve andwith a unique twist every day, you shouldcheck outThe Password Game. It has the same fifteen rules every day but the details change. This is because it involves things likesolving the dailyWordleor solving a clue from a mapthat you have to guess correctly. This makes it a new and different game every day that you will have to figure out and solve on your own.

Today’s Connections Category Hints
NOVEMBER 29 #537
This puzzle is mostly difficult because of the subject of two of the categories - mainly because the way they are set up means that the words otherwise look completely unrelated. Even one of the easier categories has words thatmight not look related if you did not know the category. However, knowing the categories changes the difficulty by quite a bit, so here are four clues about the categories:

Strands is one of New York Times' many puzzle games that consists of a unique 6x8 word search that requires players to use zig-zag solutions.
If those hints still are not enough, you can look down below for thefull spoilersto help you out.

PROJECT
VENTURE
This category was the easiest and the one I got right away. ENDEAVOR was what tipped me off when I also saw VENTURE. From there, it was simply a matter of finding ENTERPRISE and PROJECT, which did not take long. Seeing as there were not any other words that fit the same idea, it was not very difficult. However, thiswould not be the case for the whole puzzle and would not last much longer. Unfortunately, the rest of the categories were a bit more complicated than usual, and it was not as easy as finding some synonyms.
SECOND
VOLT
This category was not overly difficult. It might have been more so, but I did recognize HERTZ for what it was fairly quickly. I did go through some other associations with the word first butsettled on the measurement when I connected it to VOLT. Figuring out that SECOND and MOLE also belonged here caused me to take a minute as I considered what the right words should be, but it didn’t take me too long. It was actually MOLE that took the longest, but that might have been because of the presence of TIGER later on.

TIGER
TWIN
This was where it all started to fall apart, and it made me quite sad that it was again a sports problem. Perhaps I really should just start studying sports for all I’m worth. The frustrating part wasI kept being “one away” so I was on the right track, but somehow I managed to conflate the two categories even with that. It made it impossible to narrow down to the four words I actually needed, and I didn’t know either subject enough to figure out what the four words were.
GAME
SILICON
In the last category, I was not really sure what was going on, and thewords felt very disconnected at first glance. However, once I saw what the category was, I did recognize some of the shows. Even then, I didn’t recognize all of them likely because some of them I hadn’t seen. It was a sad moment for me, perhaps realizing that I either do or do not have my television priorities right. I haven’t quite decided which at the moment, and likely won’t decide until I do watch all four.
