Chainsaw Man is Tatsuki Fujimoto’s longest-lasting popular manga series, and its fights are just as spectacular and gory as one might expect.
The art piece posted by @Magimeoka depicts Makima and Denji in the throes of a tense battle, as an injured Denji with a nosebleed swings a bright red chainsaw directly at Makima, who wears a shocked expression on her face. In the next image, Denji drags the chainsaw through Makima’s torso, slicing her in half, and blood flies out of the incision. This confrontation was one ofChainsaw Man’smost action-packed manga battles, and it truly revealed how much Denji has grown as a character,as well as how strong he has gotten since his initial appearance in the series.

Chainsaw Manfans have a lot to look forward to in 2025,because the next arc to be adapted to animation, the Reze arc, will likely be hitting theaters soon.Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arcwas announcedback in 2023, so fans have been waiting a while for the return of the series.Unfortunately, no release date has been officially confirmed yet, but according to a post onthe officialChainsaw ManX account, AnimeJapan’s 2025 expo in March will reveal further details about the much anticipated project that will continueChainsaw Man’sthrilling anime story.
Season two ofChainsaw Manhas not been confirmed, but Ryan Colt Levy, Denji’s voice actor, has also stated that he would be happy to work on another season, sparking fans' hope. There are a handful of arcs left before the Control Devil arc in this artwork will be animated, since the Reze/Bomb Girl Arc, International Assassins Arc, and Gun Devil Arc all must appear first.
