There is nothing that Faith won’t do to get her mother back, and her dedication results in Evelyn’s rescue and the best episode ofWill Trentseason 3 (so far). Through it all, Will and Angie’s drama doesn’t get any screen time, nor is it mentioned. All the attention is on Faith and her mother, as it should be.

The gripping hour explores the complex relationship between Faith and Evelyn,whose problems date back to the day Faith, still a teenager, told her mother she was pregnant. “Breathe with Me” builds upon a dynamic that isn’t often shown but has been teased in the past. Meanwhile, the tension between Will and Angie is nowhere to be seen. For those reasons,it is a standout episode in the show’s history. However, their status as lovers is over.Their romantic relationship has always been too toxic(and has become a repetitive storyline). Ultimately, Will and Angie must move on inWill Trentseason 3, and thankfully, they will have new love interests — Marion Alba for Will, and Dr. Seth McDale (who has yet to be introduced) for Angie.
