There is a quest in The Dark Urge Origin where Alfira may stop by the party’s camp and stay the night with them. Whether or not she is invited to stay, the player character will wake up to find that they have killed her during the night. Using the mod “Save Alfira” by TLG53787,during the deadly night in Dark Urge Origin, Alfira is replaced by the Dragonborn bard named Quil instead.

If she manages to survive all the way to Act Three, she reunites with the player character once again at the Elfsong Tavern inBaldur’s Gate 3with a unique story and rewards.
While I have yet to try the mod out myself, opening up the possibility of more quests and stories to follow is something I am looking forward to in my next playthrough. Given thatBaldur’s Gate 3is all about choices and changing outcomes, it will be fun to see what awaits me by keeping her from kicking the bucket.
